A pop-up will be displayed: To waiting list?
The waiting list is a list of reservations of rooms that are not (yet) available. Usually a reservation is put on the waiting list when no rooms are available for sale at the hotel for the requested dates.
To create a new waiting list reservation, see New waitinglist.
To convert an existing reservation to a Waiting List go to the existing reservation and use shortcut <Ctrl> + <F3> or click on 'To waiting list':

If this is confirmed, the status in the global reservation information will be Waitinglist:

To access the reservations already on the waitinglist, go to Reservations > Waitinglist. See Waitinglist.
Waitinglist can also be viewed from the Availability Screen by date:

Note: Waiting list reservations are not reactivated to reservation status automatically. It requires manual user input. To view the waitinglist folio booking, double click on the number under the date required and the booking detail screen will open.
The reservation can be taken of the waiting list when a room becomes available. Use shortcut <Ctrl>+<F2> or use the following icon:
If this is confirmed, the status will change to Reservation.
