A list of all States/Provinces/Regions is important for geographical tracking in IDPMS. Before creating States, the Country/State codes need to be built. See Country State Codes Please check with the Hotel Concepts Trainer as they may have already loaded the State Codes. Entries to this picklist can be added at any time.
To access State Codes, go to Settings > Statistics > State
To add a new State Code, select add/new
Fields in blue are mandatory
State - Enter the Official State Code (limited to 8 alphanumeric characters)
Description- Enter description (limited to 30 characters)
Country/State- Select from the picklist (see Country State Codes )
Save using checkmark.
