Deadlines are linked to Guarantee Types in IDPMS. A Deadline refers to a time restriction or rule placed on a guarantee type. For example guarantee types that include credit cards would constitute a deadline of a secured guaranteed booking. A guarantee type of 'Cash' would perhaps result in a deadline of 4:00 PM hold, implying that a cash guaranteed booking would be held until 4:00 PM on day of arrival. Deadlines are set by the hotel as required.
To Configure Deadlines, go to Settings > Reservations > Deadlines and select the add/new icon
Deadline - Enter the Deadline Code (limited to 8 characters)
Description - Enter the Description (limited to 30 characters)
Guaranteed - Check this if this type of Deadline is a Guaranteed Reservation. On the Dashboard screen expected arrivals are broken out and calculated based on this guarantee check. See Dashboard.

Each reservation in IDPMS is linked to a deadline based on the guarantee code used. Deadlines are customizable per property and identify those reservations that have a deadline restriction.
