Copy Daily Rates

Copy Daily Rates is a function that was designed to assist revenue managers to easily update multiple rate types for the same period by copying from a base rate structure.
For example many hotels initially set their base RACK or BAR Rate for the year and then configure their other rates based on a percentage or flat amount decrease from this base rate.

To Access Copy Daily Rates, go to Settings > Ratemanager > Copy daily rates

In the example below, BAR rate is being Copied from July 4th to June 14th to Rate Type BARGRWEB less €15. If BAR is priced in the Rate Grid at €100, this will update BARGRWEB to €85. Restrictions can be copied too.    

• Rate Type to copy from - Select the Rate Type to copy from
• Start Date - Select the Start date to copy from
• End Date - Select the end date to copy from.
• Rate Types to Copy to - Select the rate types to copy to. To copy to multiple rate types, hold down the <Ctrl> key and select.
• Restrictions - Rooms to Sell - Min/Max length of stay - Advance Booking Days - Max. Occupancy %- Restrictions (Open Closed CTA)- If any of these boxes are checked, the update will copy these restrictions from the 'copy from' rate to the 'copy to' rates selected.
• Adjustments - This is the section where the rate adjustment is defined either as a percentage or flat amount. Negative amounts can also be used.

The first column relates to Price +/- and the second column relates to Percentage +/-

Extra adult, child and baby columns relate to the fields in the rate grid. Copy daily rates screen:

When selecting the checkmark, the copying will begin.
A warning will appear:



Select Yes. Another warning will appear:


Select Yes to begin copying and a status bar will appear.
