Consortium

A Consortium is a group of companies/agencies that enter into a voluntary association to share resources in order to gain a market advantage. In travel, it is usually used to refer to groups of suppliers that offer higher commissions and other incentives to travel agencies that enter into preferred supplier relationships with them. Many hotels who handle a lot of travel agent business want to be able to classify their Travel agents into more distinctive groups and this can be done by linking Agents to Parent Agents which in turn may be linked to Consortiums. Custom reports are available in IDPMS that track Agent-> Parent Agent bookings by consortium.

To set up the Consortium picklist, go to Settings > Picklists > Consortium and Select the New/Add icon. The configuration is customizable.

Parent (Mother) Travel Agent Relation Profile

An Agent profile needs to be linked to a Parent Agent profile and the Parent Agent Profile can then be linked to a Consortium.
