Close Day is part of the audit autorun procedure and involves calculating all daily totals and making the entries in the Mansum table and changing the date. If this is not completed by the audit autorun, then it has to be done manually using this option in the Night Audit menu. Otherwise, it does not need to be used. It is best not to use this option unless instructed by an Amadeus' Support Representative.
To manually close the day, go to Night Audit > Close Day

By selecting ok, the date will roll to the next day and all financial data will be saved in the Mansum table in the database.
