Reservation Autolink
Reservation Autolink allows the user to link two consecutive reservations, where the same guest gets a room move during the stay.
The system will start checking for 'move partners' if:
- The option is activated, see Option Modules
- The reservation is saved
- Number of rooms equals 1
- No master number is present
- Departure date of candidate reservation should equal arrival date of current reservation
- The candidate reservation has status R or H
- Number of rooms in the candidate reservation equals 1
- The candidate reservation has a room number
If all these conditions are met, the system will ask if an autolink should be made and the master number of the current reservation will then be filled with the number of the candidate.
Upon checkout of a folio that has a linked reservation, IDPMS will ask to transfer all charges to the next reservation for the same guest. After the transfer the current reservation can be checked-out without further settlement.
