Trace Action

Trace action is used in Contact Manager. Contact manager is also referred to as the 'Sales Module' in IDPMS. In IDPMS each Trace Type can be further defined by a Trace Action. Trace Actions categorize the type of action required for follow up. Trace Actions are used to identify a unique trace or trigger that can be linked to a relation profile (Guest, Company or Agent) as well as folio number (individual or group). Trace Actions are not mandatory but are beneficial in assisting the hotel to track traces by action type.

Active Traces can also be displayed by selecting Traces at Date: Relation > Traces at Date. See also Traces at Date.

To add Trace Action picklists, go to Settings > Picklists >Trace Action. Select the New/Add icon. Trace Action code is limited to 8 Characters and description is limited to 30 characters. Save entry using Checkmark
