No default printer currently selected. Error printing report

When trying to view reports, IDPMS sometimes displays the error: Error printing report. There is no default printer currently selected.
  

When starting IDPMS, IDPMS uses the default printer from Windows. It might happen that IDPMS starts too fast and the printer was not recognized yet.
When trying to open a report the messages will show: ‘There is no default printer currently selected’ or: ‘Error printing report’. 
The ‘Error printing report' message can be showing for just one report or for all reports. 
 
Check if this error is displayed for all reports, or just for 1 report.

For all reports: 

The error is showing for all reports. Follow below steps: 
  1. Restart IDPMS and test.
  2. If step 1 doesn’t fix it, switch the default printer in Windows;
  3. Go to Start in Windows and search for Printers.
  4. One printer should be set up as the default printer (with a green check mark).
  5. Choose another printer. Right mouse click. Set this one ‘as default printer’.
  6. Now restart IDPMS and try to open a report.   
  7. If this printer shouldn’t be the default, close IDPMS again and repeat above steps.
  8. Start IDPMS again and try to open a report. Now the correct default printer can be used.

For one report: 
The error is displayed just for one report. This means there is an issue with the information on that specific report. Check which day has the problem:
  1. Run the report for the whole month, error will show
  2. Run the report for 2 weeks, for 1 week, etc. to find out which day has the problem.
